2023 History Tent – Pioneer Days

2023 History Tent – Pioneer Days

2023 PCHS History Tent

There is excitement in the air as the Pine Castle community prepares to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Pioneer Days. This two day festival will recapture the pioneer spirit that lead to the settlement of this region of Florida under daunting conditions. The Pine Castle Historical Society is proud to be a part of this family oriented event that is both entertaining and educational. This year PCHS will host the Speaker’s tent as renown historians and local residents will speak on a variety of topics. One of the most anticipated events will be the “I Remember When “forum hosted by Pine Castle Historical Society President Larry Miles. Come and share your memories of how Pine Castle has changed from a small town consisting of a few dirt roads to the thriving community that continues to expand as new residents make it their home. Share your recollections of the Little League teams, the YMCA, the local churches whose founding dates to 1887. The forum will be held at 3pm at the History Tent.

Please join us for this spirited discussion.
